No distance in spite of being 11 hours flight away from one another
From Utrecht in the Netherlands we work with All things bookkeeping in Cape Town, South Africa.
All things bookkeeping supports us in keeping the accounts. Because our owner has lived in South Africa for a long time, the step to set up an accounting department in South Africa was less big. There is no time difference. Sandra and Julia communicate fluent in both Dutch and English. The cooperation is going well. This is also due to the pleasant style in communication and short lines of communication back and forth when there is something that needs attention.
We work in Business Central on the basis of an RGS which was a new package for them and for us. As a result, we both needed some extra time and attention in the first months to properly organize the accounting and to determine which bookings had to be placed in which categories. Now that we have clarified our processes/procedures/definitions, it works well together. All things bookkeeping is a special small department within our organization. Suppliers and employees hardly notice that the accounting for DataBalk Nederland is conducted in South Africa.

Vanuit Utrecht in Nederland werken wij met All things bookkeeping in Kaapstad, Zuid Afrika.
All things bookkeeping ondersteunt ons bij het voeren van de boekhouding. Doordat onze eigenaar lang in Zuid Afrika heeft gewoond was de stap om een boekhouding in Zuid Afrika te voeren minder groot. Er is geen tijdverschil. Sandra en Julia communiceren zowel in het Nederlands als in Engelse taal. De samenwerking verloopt goed. Dat komt ook door de prettige stijl in communicatie en korte lijnen over en weer als er even iets is wat aandacht nodig heeft.
Wij werken in Business Central op basis van een RGS wat voor hen en voor ons een nieuw pakket was. We hebben daardoor in de eerste maanden over en weer wat extra tijd en aandacht nodig gehad om de boekhouding goed in te richten en om te bepalen welke boekingen in welke categorieen onder gebracht moesten worden. Nu we de inrichting helder hebben staan werkt het prima samen. All things bookkeeping is een afdelinkje binnen onze organisatie. Leveranciers en medewerkers hebben nauwelijks door dat de boekhouding voor DataBalk Nederland in Zuid Afrika gevoerd wordt.
